Ihnasia urban plan completed in Beni Suef, Egypt

Egypt's Minister of Local Development and Environment, Manal Awad, announced the completion of the detailed urban plan for the city of Ihnasia in the Beni Suef Governorate. The plan covers approximately 538.1 acres, with 36.31 acres designated for regional services. It includes defined land uses, road networks, service areas, and residential zones to guide future development and manage urban growth.

This initiative is part of a broader national effort to complete the urban planning system across various governorates. Through a protocol between the Ministry of Local Development and the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, detailed plans have now been prepared for 129 cities and 1,399 villages. The approved plans aim to provide clear guidelines for land use and building requirements, facilitating the licensing process and reducing unplanned urban expansion.
