IHOP brings back Stuffed French Toast after six-year absence

IHOP has officially reintroduced Stuffed French Toast to its menu nationwide following six years of customer demand. The item, which was first launched in 2003 and removed in 2020, has returned as a dedicated menu category.

The new version features two varieties: Strawberry Vanilla and Blueberry Vanilla. Each serving consists of two French toast triangles filled with sweet cream, dipped in a vanilla-cinnamon batter, and topped with fruit and vanilla sauce. IHOP president Lawrence Kim noted that the company developed a new injection process to provide more cream filling than previous versions without compromising the integrity of the toast.

The relaunch is part of the “Fancy a French Toast?” campaign, aiming to leverage nostalgia and social media interest to drive breakfast traffic. The company identified the dish as its most-requested discontinued item on social media platforms.
