IIFA Awards to return to Abu Dhabi in 2027

The 27th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend & Awards is scheduled to return to Abu Dhabi in 2027. The event will be held at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island on January 22 and 23.

This marks the fourth time IIFA will be hosted in Abu Dhabi, organized in partnership with Miral and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. The announcement was made during the Arabian Travel Market 2026, accompanied by a signing ceremony involving officials from Miral and the Department of Culture and Tourism.

The star-studded lineup for the 2027 ceremony includes Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal. Tickets for the event are expected to go on sale on September 18 at 10 am UAE time.
