IIJmio expands smartphone discount sale in Japan, adding OPPO Find X9 Ultra and Moto G37j

Japan's low‑cost mobile carrier IIJmio announced on May 1 that its “smartphone big discount sale” will include two new models: the OPPO Find X9 Ultra priced at ¥247,800 and the Moto g37j at ¥19,800. The promotion runs until 4 November 2026 and offers special pricing when customers switch to IIJmio’s gigaplan with a voice SIM or eSIM and purchase an eligible device as part of a single contract.

Separately, Bowers & Wilkins disclosed that its true‑wireless earbuds, the Pi8 and Pi6, now support Bluetooth’s new Auracast broadcast‑audio feature. Users must update the Bowers & Wilkins Music app and the earphones’ firmware to version 5.0. Auracast enables a single source to stream audio simultaneously to multiple devices and lets listeners hear public‑facility announcements through their earbuds.
