IIJmio launches sale of OPPO Reno16 5G and MIVE Kasema

IIJmio, the MVNO service operated by Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ), has launched the sale of the OPPO Reno16 5G and the ALT MIVE Kasema smartphone as of September 2.

Both devices are part of a ‘Smartphone Special Sale’ campaign. Customers who switch to IIJmio via Mobile Number Portability (MNP) and simultaneously subscribe to a ‘Voice SIM’ or ‘Voice eSIM’ under the Giga Plan can purchase the devices at a discounted rate. This promotional pricing is available for one device per mioID and is scheduled to run until November 4, 2026.

The OPPO Reno16 5G features 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, and a 6.3-inch AMOLED display. Under the MNP promotion, the device is available for 74,800 yen upfront, compared to its standard price of 89,800 yen.

The MIVE Kasema, a mobile-style smartphone with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, is offered at a promotional price of 32,800 yen upfront, down from the standard 34,800 yen. These discounted rates are exclusive to orders placed through the IIJmio website.
