IIM Jammu to establish satellite campus in Leh, Ladakh

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu and the Ladakh administration have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a satellite campus in Leh. The initiative aims to expand access to quality management education and foster entrepreneurial opportunities for the youth in the Union Territory.

The new campus will offer a four-year BBA (Honours) programme, with an initial intake of 60 students. The academic programme is scheduled to begin in late October, following the rapid development of campus infrastructure which was completed within two months.

According to officials, there has already been significant interest in the program, with approximately 600 candidates expressing interest in the 60 available seats. The establishment of the campus was signed in the presence of Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena.
