IIT (BHU) hosts Hindi book exhibition featuring 400 new titles
The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) organized a special Hindi book exhibition at the Srinivas Deshpande Library to celebrate Hindi Month. Held under the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, the event aimed to introduce students, faculty, and researchers to new literature and scientific works in Hindi.
The exhibition features approximately 400 new titles covering subjects such as history, philosophy, culture, society, and science. A primary highlight of the display is the 12-volume set titled ‘The Complete Works of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya’. These volumes, compiled by the Mahamana Malaviya Mission and published by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, detail his life, writings, and contributions to nation-building.
Inaugurated by Director-in-Charge NK Mukhopadhyay, the event has seen significant interest from the academic community, serving as an initiative to connect the younger generation with Hindi heritage and literature.
