IIT Bhubaneswar rolls out Odisha incubation program and hires staff

The Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT‑BBS) Research and Entrepreneurship Park announced two contract positions – Business Manager and Project Assistant – for its DAY‑NRLM Incubator Programme. Applications must be submitted by 6 August 2026.

In parallel, the Odisha Livelihood Mission (OLM) under the Mission Shakti department launched a special incubation programme for self‑help group (SHG)‑led rural enterprises across the state. Supported by IIT‑BBS, the scheme offers mentoring, market access, assistance with registrations (GST, UDYAM, trademark, FSSAI) and financial support, including a challenge fund of up to ₹15 lakh for large enterprises and interest‑free soft loans for equipment and working capital. Applications are open until 24 August 2026, and eligible enterprises must have a minimum turnover of ₹12‑20 lakh in recent years.
