IIT institutes host summits on MedTech and Hyperloop technology

Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) have hosted major summits focused on advancing emerging technologies in healthcare and transportation.

IIT Delhi organized its 2nd CSR Conclave, which focused on emerging healthcare technologies and Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) collaboration. The event showcased indigenous MedTech research, including AI-driven oncology diagnostics, Raman spectroscopy for cancer detection, and wearable robotic exoskeletons. The conclave aimed to bridge the gap between laboratory research and market availability through industry-academia partnerships and CSR funding.

Meanwhile, IIT Madras, in partnership with the Deendayal Port Authority, hosted the Parivahan 2.0 Global Hyperloop Summit. The summit addressed the development of high-speed, sustainable transport and its applications in logistics and port connectivity. A notable outcome of the event was an agreement signed between TuTr Hyperloop and Larsen and Toubro (L&T) to strengthen industry involvement in Hyperloop technology development.
