IIT Mandi rises in India Today–MDRA Rankings 2026

The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) has shown consistent improvement in the India Today–MDRA Rankings 2026. The institute rose to 7th place nationally in the Technical Universities category, up from 8th in 2025.

In the engineering category, IIT Mandi moved from 13th to 11th place nationally. It also secured the 10th rank among government engineering colleges in India. Additionally, the institute was ranked 3rd nationally among emerging government engineering colleges and 6th among the most improved government engineering colleges based on its performance trajectory from 2022 to 2026.
