IIT Roorkee launches online AI and Data Science certificate program

IIT Roorkee has launched a new online Executive Certificate Program in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science. Designed specifically for students and working professionals, the program offers a flexible learning format to accommodate existing job or academic commitments.

Classes are scheduled for evenings or weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) via an online mode. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics from foundational to advanced levels, including Python and R programming, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, neural networks, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Additionally, the course includes instruction on Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Big Data management.

Participants will have access to recorded lectures, cloud-based virtual labs, and a 24/7 Learning Management System (LMS). The program aims to provide practical experience through case studies, assignments, and industry-based live projects, guided by both IIT Roorkee faculty and industry experts.
