iiyama unveils 27‑inch Titan Falcon OLED monitor amid rapid market growth

Japanese display maker iiyama introduced the G‑Master GOB2701QSC‑B1 Titan Falcon, a 27‑inch OLED gaming monitor built on LG Display’s fourth‑generation Meta 3.0 panel. The unit offers a 2560 × 1440 WQHD resolution, a 280 Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms response time and HDR True Black 400 certification, with peak brightness up to 1500 cd/m². Color coverage includes 99.5 % DCI‑P3, 95 % Adobe RGB and 150 % sRGB. Connectivity features two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 2.1, and a USB‑C port that supplies up to 65 W Power Delivery. Adaptive‑sync support covers NVIDIA G‑SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium, and the monitor adds a built‑in KVM switch, USB 3.2 hub and dual 5 W speakers.

Separately, research firm Omdia reported that the OLED monitor market grew 74 % in 2024, generating roughly $2.8 billion in revenue, and is forecast to reach $3.6 billion in 2026 – an increase of about 30 % year‑on‑year. OLED panels now represent 17 % of the overall monitor market, up from 0.8 % in 2022, and account for more than 60 % of the premium (> $800) segment. Samsung Display holds about 74.5 % of the OLED monitor market share, with LG Display supplying the remainder.
