IK Brage relegated to Ettan Norra after Superettan draw

IK Brage has been relegated to Ettan Norra after a 1–1 draw against Norrby in their final Superettan match. Despite taking a 1–0 lead in the 40th minute through a goal by Sporrong, Brage was unable to maintain the advantage after Hugo Tilly received a second yellow card in the 60th minute.

Norrby capitalized on the man advantage in the 66th minute when Olle Backlund equalized. Although Brage dominated much of the match with 20 total shots, they could not secure the win needed to avoid relegation. Head coach Gustav Källberg expressed disappointment at the result but praised the players for their effort and commitment on the pitch.

The relegation ends Brage’s nine-season tenure in the Superettan.
