IKA UNAIR Bangkalan hosts writing workshop for 100 participants

The Universitas Airlangga Alumni Association (IKA UNAIR) Bangkalan branch held a writing workshop titled ‘Write to Publish / From Idea to Publishable Article’ in Bangkalan, East Java. Approximately 100 participants from various backgrounds attended the event to sharpen their ability to identify issues and communicate ideas through structured writing.

The training focused on practical application rather than just theory, guiding participants through the process of finding ideas, determining angles, processing evidence, drafting, and editing. Two keynote speakers led the sessions: Bustomi, Director of the Institute for Strategic and Political Studies (INTRAPOLS), and Mohammad Tojjib, Director of Madura Indepth and former General Manager of Jawa Pos Radar Madura.

During the sessions, participants were encouraged to derive ideas from data, experiences, and environmental changes. Siti Aminah was recognized for presenting the best idea during Bustomi’s session.
