IKEA announces KONSTRUNDA limited-edition art collection

IKEA has announced the launch of KONSTRUNDA, a limited-edition collection featuring 22 unique items designed by seven international artists and creators. Available in stores and online starting in September, the collection aims to make contemporary art more accessible for everyday home environments.

The collection includes a diverse range of products such as glassware, ceramics, furniture, and textiles, characterized by bold shapes, vibrant colors, and expressive silhouettes. The project was developed over two and a half years, granting creators significant creative freedom to express their individual styles without a predetermined direction.

Featured contributors include Swedish artist Lisa Reiser, who works with hand-blown glass, ceramics, and metal; designer Andua Maseba; and Indian creator Akanksha Deo, whose work explores the intersection of design, fashion, and traditional textiles. Other participating artists include Lisa Hilland, Emanuele Stamuli, Ingrid Leander, and Igor Holtermann.
