Ikea launches clutter-themed advertising campaign in Sweden
Ikea is launching a new advertising campaign in Sweden titled ‘Tidy Billboards’ to highlight the reality of household clutter. Created by the agency NoA Åkestam Holst, the campaign utilizes outdoor installations that contrast minimalist aesthetics with everyday messiness.
The billboards initially present a typical, tidy home furnishing advertisement. However, the installations reveal stacked storage boxes behind the facade, filled with items such as toys, clothes, electronics, and drawings to reflect how families actually live. The campaign is scheduled to appear in major Swedish cities starting in late August and will also be featured on digital and social media channels.
