Ikea opens first Umbria store in Corciano

Ikea has opened its first store in the Umbria region of Italy, located in Corciano within the Quasar area. The new location utilizes the company’s “Small store” format, which is designed for local convenience in medium-sized areas. This is only the second store in Italy to adopt this compact model.

The facility covers between 2,500 and 3,000 square meters and features over 1,400 products available for immediate purchase, alongside a showroom for inspiration. Customers can order the full Ikea range for home delivery or in-store pickup. The store includes specialized services such as a planning area for personalized home design, an “Ikea for business” space, and a circularity corner to promote product reuse.

The opening has also involved community engagement through a partnership with the Fondazione La Città del Sole. This collaboration aims to renovate various spaces within the foundation's facilities, including offices, laboratories, and dining areas, to support its users.
