IKEA to Open Small-Format Store at Crocker Park in Westlake, Ohio, in 2027

IKEA announced that a new small‑format store will open at the mixed‑use lifestyle centre Crocker Park in Westlake, Ohio, in spring 2027. The retailer will remodel the former Dick’s Sporting Goods building, expanding it to roughly 80,000 sq ft and offering the brand’s full showroom and warehouse‑style selection.

The development is described as a “destination” that will draw shoppers from Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Toledo, Erie, Youngstown and beyond, reducing the need for trips to the nearest IKEA locations in Columbus (115 mi) and Pittsburgh (107 mi). IKEA U.S. chief operating officer Rob Olson and Stark Enterprises executives—including CEO Ezra Stark and EVP of leasing Lidia Saluan Richani—highlighted the project as a key milestone for the region and a showcase of the company’s global small‑format concept.
