Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2026 announces event details

The Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2026 has announced its first round of event details. Scheduled to take place from October 30 to November 1, 2026, the large-scale event is organized by a committee including Dwango, Animate, Hakosta, Sunshine City, and Toshima City.

A major highlight of the festival is the cosplay parade, which will feature approximately 400 cosplayers walking a red carpet from Sunshine 60 Street to Animate Street. Other planned activities include the ‘Niconico Cosplay Collection’ runway at Nakameguro Park, a night-time photography experience called ‘Ikebukuro Halloween Night’ for those aged 18 and older, and various photo spots at Hareza Ikebukuro.

Ticket sales are set to begin on September 4, 2026. Options include general admission, specialized photographer tickets for middle and high school students, and premium tickets that offer benefits such as early access to changing rooms, use of partner photography studios, and access to hospitality areas.
