Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2026 announces event details

The Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2026 and Toshima Street Fes 2026 are set to converge in Tokyo, Japan, with a special collaborative event titled ‘IKEBUKURO HALLOWEEN BOUNCE!’ scheduled for November 1, 2026, at Animate Theater.

The collaborative event will feature a diverse lineup, including a special live performance by Mayu Maeshima, a ‘SYMPHOGEAR NIGHT -GEARMANIA-’ DJ stage, and an anime song dance battle titled ‘HOOK THE RAW.’ Additionally, the program includes a runway show featuring eight key visual cosplayers and a performance stage with Ken Shiba and Ry☆.

The broader Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival will run from October 30 to November 1, 2026. To accommodate international visitors, organizers have announced multilingual support measures, including staff equipped with ‘Pocketalk’ translation devices capable of handling 92 languages. Real-time audio translation for the Nakameguro Park main stage will also be available via smartphone QR codes.

The festival is organized by an executive committee including Dwango, Animate, Hakosta, Sunshine City, and Toshima Ward.
