A new branch of the Tokyo‑style thick‑miso ramen shop 万波軒 is set to open on 5 August 2026 at 1F of the IK20 Miyata Building (1‑39‑1 IK20, Nishi‑Ikebukuro, Toshima‑ku). The outlet will offer the shop’s best‑selling “Negi Miso Chashu Noodles” and will open with a discounted price of ¥780 (regular ¥990). It expands the existing Ikebukuro‑west location with a larger seating area of 15 seats.

Meanwhile, the casual yakiniku and beef‑tongue all‑you‑can‑eat chain 大衆焼肉居酒屋 牛たんたんと plans to launch its Ikebukuro outlet on 1 August 2026. The restaurant, known for a ¥550 (tax‑incl.) all‑you‑can‑eat beef‑tongue menu (with a single drink) and a ¥968 mixed beef‑karubi‑loin option, will be located in Jujo‑naka‑hara, Kita‑ku. It already operates a Jujo location and a main store in Kameido, and the Ikebukuro site will add to its growing presence in the area.
