Ikeda City to launch second round of premium digital gift certificates

Ikeda City has announced the launch of its second round of premium digital gift certificates to support local shopping. Under this program, residents aged 12 and older can purchase 7,000 yen worth of certificates for 5,000 yen, providing a 2,000 yen premium value.

Applications are scheduled to run from November 2 to November 30, 2026, with the purchase and usage period spanning from December 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027. The program utilizes the PayPay smartphone payment application. Residents are advised to prepare their My Number cards in advance, as they will be required for identity verification during the application process.
