Iker Almena joins Dinamo Zagreb on loan from Al Qadsiah
Dinamo Zagreb has officially signed 22-year-old Spanish winger Iker Almena on a one-year loan from the Saudi Arabian club Al Qadsiah. The agreement includes an option for Dinamo to purchase his contract at the end of the season.
Almena, a former La Masia academy player who previously played for Girona, spent the last season on loan at Hajduk Split. During his 23 appearances for Hajduk, he recorded four goals and three assists.
To facilitate the move back to European football, Almena accepted a significant reduction in salary. While his contract in Saudi Arabia was valued at approximately 3 million euros annually, his new salary at Dinamo will be roughly 400,000 euros, matching the terms he held during his time at Hajduk.
