Iker Lecuona adapts Ducati setup using MotoGP technical insights

Iker Lecuona is using the remainder of the WorldSBK season to experiment with his Ducati Panigale V4 R setup. After experiencing positive results while filling in for MotoGP sessions with Gresini Racing at Balaton Park and Silverstone, the Spanish rider requested that his Aruba.it Racing team attempt to transpose those MotoGP-style settings to his Superbike.

Lecuona noted that because teammate Nicolo Bulega holds a significant lead in the championship, the title is out of reach for him this season. This has allowed him to focus on finding “those last tenths” through technical experimentation. He described the bike as being “quite different” compared to his previous performance at Donington Park as the team works to understand the new technical base.
