Iker Muniain appointed head coach of Spain's Salamanca CF UDS

Iker Muniain, the former San Lorenzo winger, was presented as the new head coach of Salamanca CF UDS at the Helmántico stadium. The Spanish fourth‑division club, competing in the Segunda Federación, expects him to lead a promotion push. He also confirmed that there had been contacts with Argentine club San Lorenzo about a coaching role, but no agreement was reached. "It is true that contact existed between San Lorenzo and me," he told reporters, noting that the discussions did not result in a contract and that he is now focused on his duties in Spain.
