Iki retail chain announces seasonal discounts on fresh produce

The Lithuanian retail chain Iki has announced significant discounts on seasonal produce as the fresh harvest season begins. The retailer is offering over 3,000 discounts to encourage customers to stock up on staples before the autumn season.

Key promotional items include potatoes at 29 ct/kg, plums at 79 ct/kg, and a 40 percent discount on various grains and flour. Other seasonal vegetables such as cucumbers and zucchini are also seeing increased availability and popularity due to their affordability and versatility.

Gintarė Kitovė, communications manager at Iki, noted that customers often purchase larger quantities, such as whole sacks of potatoes, when significant discounts are available. The retailer aims to support healthier eating habits by emphasizing the availability of fresh, high-quality fruits and vegetables.
