IKN Authority budget projected to reach Rp6.7 trillion in 2027

The Indonesian government has projected a budget increase for the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) Authority in the 2027 Draft State Budget (RAPBN). The proposed allocation for the IKN Authority is Rp6.72 trillion, representing a 7.3% increase from the 2026 budget of Rp6.26 trillion.

The majority of these funds, totaling Rp6.12 trillion or 91.2% of the total budget, are earmarked for strategic area development programs. This marks a 9.1% increase in development spending compared to the current year. Conversely, management support funding is expected to decrease to Rp592 billion, an 8.1% reduction from the 2026 allocation, indicating a shift in focus toward physical acceleration over internal administrative operations.
