IKN infrastructure projects receive Attorney General oversight

The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) and the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) have initiated strategic development security (PPS) for road infrastructure projects in the new capital, Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN).

Approval has been granted for three road infrastructure packages for the 2026–2027 fiscal year, valued at approximately Rp3.986 trillion. These packages include roads for the Judicial Complex, the Legislative Complex, and the KIPP 1A supporting area. Additionally, seven road improvement packages for the KIPP 1B-1C area from 2025, valued at Rp3.355 trillion, have been completed and handed over to the OIKN.

Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Ahmad Sahroni, expressed support for the Attorney General's oversight. He emphasized that such large-scale projects require strict supervision to ensure all budgets for procurement, infrastructure, and labor are managed with integrity and without loopholes.
