Il Boss della Carne owners secure second place at The Golden Steak

Federica Grotteria and Noemi Devona, owners of the restaurant ‘Il Boss della Carne’ in Crotone, secured second place at the seventh edition of The Golden Steak in Pisa. The competition, dedicated to the art of cooking bone-in steaks, saw the all-female team from Calabria outperform many experienced male-led teams.

During the event held on September 21, the duo prepared a T-bone steak that received high praise from the jury. Jury president Roberto Giacobbo described their work as producing the best Fiorentina steak of the entire competition. The achievement marks a significant moment for female representation in the traditionally male-dominated field of professional grilling and meat preparation.
