Il Giardino delle Zucche celebrates 10 years in Pignataro Maggiore
The Il Giardino delle Zucche pumpkin patch in Pignataro Maggiore is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Founded in 2016 by Emily Turino, the site brings the American pumpkin patch tradition to Campania, Italy.
The tenth edition begins on Saturday, September 26, and will feature Paolo Siani, a counselor for the Giancarlo Siani Foundation. Siani will participate in a social campaign aimed at combating cyberbullying, specifically targeting younger audiences.
New attractions for this year include the ‘Giardino delle Tagete’ (Marigold Garden), which can be accessed via tractor, and a New England-style glass greenhouse designed for contemplation. Traditional activities, such as selecting pumpkins to be transported in red wagons and participating in carving and painting workshops, will also continue.
