Il Lombardia 2026 cycling race details and route

The 120th edition of Il Lombardia, a major classic in the professional cycling calendar, is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026. The race will cover a 239-kilometer route starting in Bergamo and concluding in Como, featuring approximately 4,600 meters of positive elevation gain across nine climbs.

The course includes significant ascents such as the Ghisallo, with gradients reaching 14%, and the final decisive climbs including San Fermo della Battaglia and Civiglio. The race is expected to be highly competitive following the absence of Tadej Pogacar, who has won every edition since 2021. Key contenders include Remco Evenepoel, Enric Mas, Tom Pidcock, and Davide Piganzoli.

In Spain, viewers can follow the event via Eurosport, HBO Max, and various other platforms including Movistar and DAZN.
