Il Paradiso delle Signore returns to Rai1 with 160 episodes

The Italian television series ‘Il Paradiso delle Signore’ returns to Rai1 on September 7, 2024, for its ninth season. This upcoming installment will feature a record 160 episodes, set against the backdrop of 1968, a period of significant social and cultural transformation in Italy.

The new season introduces seven new characters to the cast, aiming to represent the generational shifts and social tensions of the era. Notable additions include Carla Corsi, played by Lavinia Longhi, an ambitious woman who challenges Contessa Adelaide; her son Iacopo, a talented stylist played by Alessio D'Ortenzi; and Diana, played by Ksenia Borzak, a rebellious and non-conformist character.

Additionally, Elisa Croce, portrayed by Agnese Lorenzini, joins the cast as the new head saleswoman following the departure of Irene. The expanded narrative intends to explore themes of civil rights, generational conflict, and the evolving economic and cultural landscape of late 1960s Italy.
