Il POMO Fest returns to Nocera Inferiore for tomato celebration

The second edition of Il POMO Fest is scheduled to take place in Nocera Inferiore across two weekends: September 10–13 and September 17–20. The festival celebrates the tomato, a key identity symbol for the Agro Nocerino-Sarnese region and Campania, which is recognized as a significant global economic resource.

Organized by the Associazione Pomo Fest – ETS, the event aims to showcase the entire tomato supply chain and highlight the work of local canning companies. Mayor Paolo De Maio noted that the initiative serves as a vital showcase to strengthen territorial identity, generate tourism, and promote Campania as an excellent gastronomic destination.
