Standard Liege midfielder Marco Ilaimaharitra is set to be sidelined for four weeks following a confirmed hamstring injury sustained during training. Coach Vincent Euvrard announced the news ahead of the club's upcoming match against RAAL La Louvière in the Jupiler Pro League.

In French rugby, RCT Toulon prop Beka Gigashvili will undergo surgery on his calf. Despite participating in the team's preseason training camp in Briançon, the Georgian international is expected to miss two to three weeks of competition.
