ILAN National Board Game Tournament launches in Chile

The third edition of the ILAN National Board Game Tournament has launched in Chile, organized by Fundación Antártica21 and Within Play. The competition uses a board game inspired by Antarctic biodiversity to educate younger generations about the continent.

The tournament begins in Quillota on August 29 and will travel through various cities, including Valparaíso, Concepción, Puerto Natales, and Punta Arenas. The event will conclude with a national final in Santiago on November 21.

The grand prize for the winner is an Antarctic expedition for two people aboard an Antarctica21 aerocruiser during the 2026-2027 season. Valued at approximately $40,000, the prize includes flights, accommodation, and guided excursions through fjords, channels, and wildlife areas.
