Ilanga Capital and Goldman Sachs secure €145M for Marbella longevity resort
Ilanga Capital and Real Estate at Goldman Sachs Alternatives have signed a €145 million senior financing agreement to develop Oakmond, a longevity and wellness resort in Marbella, Spain. The project is being built on a 53,000-square-meter site formerly occupied by the Incosol hotel.
The total execution budget is approximately €260 million. While Goldman Sachs provides €145 million via a senior loan, Ilanga Capital will cover the remaining costs using its own funds. The total asset and capital base for the project exceeds €400 million, incorporating trophy assets into the platform.
Oakmond is designed as an integrated advanced longevity platform combining preventive medicine, wellness, and high-end services. The complex will feature 140 luxury rooms, 28 private residences, fitness areas, and specialized gastronomic offerings. Following the completion of design and licensing phases, construction is expected to begin in late 2026, with a scheduled opening in the third quarter of 2029.
