Ildikó Tóth discusses co-parenting and avoiding long-term parental conflict
Businesswoman Ildikó Tóth shared insights regarding her divorce and co-parenting approach during a discussion on the "Csak szabadon" podcast. She emphasized that the primary trauma for a child is not the divorce itself, but rather the potential for long-term conflict and lack of communication between parents.
Tóth noted that her marriage ended when her son was only four months old. To prevent the transfer of transgenerational trauma, she and her former husband prioritized maintaining a respectful relationship. Eighteen years after their divorce, the two remain close friends, occasionally vacationing together, and maintaining positive relationships with each other's new partners.
