Ilenya Goss to receive “Le donne non perdono il filo” award

The “Le donne non perdono il filo” award ceremony will take place on September 18 in Trappitello, Taormina. Promoted by Naxoslegge, the event is part of a meeting titled “Dal mito al rito. Lo sguardo ‘sacro’ delle donne”.

Among the award recipients is Ilenya Goss, a Waldensian pastor and theologian recognized for her work on the relationship between faith, fragility, and artificial intelligence. Other honorees include Noemi Scarpa, Haifa Alsakfaf, Elena Lea Bartolini De Angeli, Anna Maria Shinnyo Marradie, and Swamini Shuddhananda Giri. Additionally, the Casa delle donne di Ragusa will receive recognition on its tenth anniversary.

Goss emphasized the importance of the award for cultural commitment and interreligious dialogue, noting that the goal is to celebrate differences across Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism to “weave a web that comforts the world and heals wounds.”
