Ilerna Lleida signs Lithuanian Aurimas Majauskas

Ilerna Lleida has announced the signing of Lithuanian forward-center Aurimas Majauskas. The 33-year-old, standing 2.03 meters tall, joins the club on a non-guaranteed contract that could run until June 2027.

Majauskas brings extensive international experience, having played in Lithuania, Serbia, Iceland, Ukraine, England, and Latvia. Last season, he played for Neptunas Klaipeda, averaging 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in the Adriatic League, and 8.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in the Eurocup. He is described as a versatile player capable of playing both the 4 and 5 positions.

His arrival provides depth for the team's interior rotation as they begin preseason training. The squad is currently undergoing medical examinations following the absence of several players, including Atoumane Diagne and Kur Kuath, who have been called up for national team duties.
