Ilham Aliyev conducts state visit to Uzbekistan

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has conducted a state visit to Uzbekistan. Video footage of the visit, including a stop at the Ismaili Samani Mausoleum in Bukhara, has been shared via official social media channels.

Separately, Iran has finalized administrative procedures for a favorable trade agreement with Oman and submitted the document to parliament for final discussion. This move follows significant progress in Iranian trade diplomacy and infrastructure development over the last two years. The agreement aims to simplify and expand trade exchanges, enhance customs cooperation, and combat smuggling through joint committees and expert exchanges. This follows 18 memorandums of understanding signed in May 2025 between President Masoud Pezeshkian and the Sultan of Oman.
