Ilham Aliyev condemns Armenian missile strikes on Ganja and Mingachevir

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has addressed the nation and participated in a video interview with TASS regarding the ongoing conflict and recent escalations. Aliyev reported that Armenian forces conducted missile strikes on the cities of Ganja and Mingachevir, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to residential areas.

In his address, Aliyev characterized the strikes on civilian populations as a military crime and stated that Azerbaijan would respond on the battlefield. He emphasized that while Azerbaijan remains committed to international law and peaceful resolution processes, such as those discussed in Moscow, the Armenian leadership has repeatedly violated ceasefire regimes. Aliyev noted that attacks on cities like Ganja occurred less than 24 hours after previous negotiations, undermining the stability of the ceasefire.
