Ilhéus Councilor Calls for Probe into Alleged Samu Staff Harassment

City councilor Neto da Saúde asked municipal authorities to investigate accusations of harassment involving two employees of the mobile emergency service (Samu) in Ilhéus. He raised the issue during a council session on 29 May, noting that a police report has already been filed and that the allegations require a rigorous inquiry.

The councilor urged the municipal health secretary, Sonilda Mello, and the coordinator of the Medium and High Complexity department, Sheila, to monitor the case. He emphasized that no individuals have been identified as guilty yet and that any proven misconduct must be addressed according to the law.
