Ilhéus offers tax debt discounts through REFIS 2026

Taxpayers in Ilhéus have until September 1 to participate in the first phase of the REFIS 2026 program to regularize municipal debts. The program offers significant discounts on fines and interest, including up to 100% off for those choosing a single lump-sum payment.

For those opting for installments, the discount rates vary based on the number of payments: 90% for 2 to 5 installments, 70% for 6 to 10, 50% for 11 to 14, and 30% for 15 to 18. The program covers both tax and non-tax debts, such as IPTU and ISS, for obligations occurring up to December 31, 2025. To apply, taxpayers must visit the Diretoria da Receita in person with official identification.
