Çiğli Municipality provides free health screenings

Çiğli Municipality conducted a free health screening event at Kasaplar Square to improve community access to healthcare services. During the initiative, teams from the Directorate of Health Affairs performed blood pressure and blood sugar measurements for approximately 300 citizens.

As part of the preventative health measures, participants were issued personal health cards to record their measurement results, allowing them to track their own health values. Individuals who presented risky or high readings were advised to consult medical specialists for further examination.

In addition to the screenings, the municipality provided information regarding its broader health service offerings, including ambulance services for patient transport, disabled patient transport, home health and consultancy services, and the Academic Therapy Center. Contact information for these departments was included on the health cards provided to citizens.
