Ilidža to build ‘Doliće’ memorial for fallen soldiers

The Municipality of Ilidža has signed a contract for the construction of the ‘Doliće’ memorial, dedicated to the fallen fighters and martyrs of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The agreement was signed by Ilidža Mayor Nermin Muzur and Hako Duljević, director of the local construction company Duljević.

The monument will be located at the Square of the Fourth Motorized Knight Brigade. Its name, ‘Doliće’, carries symbolic weight as it honors the 52 martyrs from the village of Doliće on Pešter. The project is intended to serve as a permanent reminder of those who died defending Bosnia and Herzegovina and to foster a culture of remembrance for future generations.

The planned structure will consist of three main components: a pedestal featuring benches and green space, a wall pedestal with a water channel, and a wall containing inscriptions and a fountain.
