Ilir Hasani demands investigation into minister Ivan Stoilkoviq incident

Ilir Hasani, a deputy from the European Front, has announced that his party submitted a proposal to establish an investigative commission regarding an incident involving local government minister Ivan Stoilkoviq. The incident, which occurred in July, resulted in sharp verbal tensions and political clashes between Stoilkoviq and Albanian opposition deputies.

Hasani criticized the parliamentary majority for failing to process the proposal, accusing the assembly of protecting Stoilkoviq and treating him as untouchable. He specifically questioned why Speaker Afrim Gashi is providing political protection to the minister instead of calling for an investigation. Hasani further accused the VLENI party of remaining silent even when the dignity and interests of the Albanian community are perceived to be under threat.
