Ilium Scythe Ballet power metal Giles Lavery new album

Australian power metal band Ilium has announced its ninth studio album, titled ‘Scythe Ballet’. The release marks the band’s first full-length album in six years.

The new album features vocalist Giles Lavery, known for his work with Warlord and Alcatrazz, joining band members Adam Smith, Jason Hodges, and Tim Yatras. The project was recorded in early 2025 and is set to be released via Arkeyn Steel/Steel Gallery Records in Greece.

The tracklist for ‘Scythe Ballet’ includes ‘Infant Clairvoyants’, ‘Blood Embers’, ‘Scythe Ballet’, ‘Confessions Of A Former God’, ‘Extinction Point’, and ‘Byzantium’.
