İlkay Gündoğan reportedly purchases 250 million TL apartment in Istanbul

Galatasaray footballer İlkay Gündoğan has reportedly purchased a luxury apartment in the Zincirlikuyu district of Istanbul for approximately 250 million TL.

Following a long-term residence in Göktürk, the move is attributed to his growing family. Gündoğan, who married Italian model Sara Arfaoui in 2022, recently welcomed their third child, Kian Leone, in April. The decision to relocate to Zincirlikuyu was reportedly influenced by the need for more living space, proximity to the city center, social amenities, and medical facilities.

This real estate acquisition comes amid observations regarding his playing time; despite the first four weeks of the Süper Lig season having passed, the experienced midfielder has not yet appeared on the pitch, though no injuries have been reported.
