Illinois Men's Basketball prepares for regular season and final exhibition

The Illinois Fighting Illini men's basketball team is preparing for the 2026-27 season, concluding their exhibition schedule with a matchup against UIC at the State Farm Center.

Recent exhibition play included a loss to Baylor, where freshman Quentin Coleman stood out by scoring 20 points and recording seven rebounds. In contrast, senior Andrej Stojakovic struggled offensively and exited the game due to an injury.

Key players for the upcoming season include fifth-year forward/center Zvonimir Ivisic, a 7-foot-2 rim protector known for his shot-blocking ability and perimeter agility, and center Tomislav Ivisic. The team's regular season is scheduled to begin on November 2 at Champaign's State Farm Center.
