Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund expands holdings in AbbVie and Kenvue

The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) disclosed new positions in its most recent Form 13F filing. The fund added 6,875 shares of AbbVie Inc., bringing its total to 175,516 shares valued at about $38.2 million, which represents roughly 0.5 % of the fund’s portfolio.

In the same filing, IMRF increased its stake in Kenvue Inc. by 72,348 shares, raising its holding to 643,141 shares worth approximately $11.1 million. Both purchases were made during the first quarter and reflect the fund’s ongoing adjustments to its equity investments.

These filings highlight the fund’s exposure to two major pharmaceutical companies, with AbbVie accounting for its 28th largest holding and Kenvue representing a notable addition to the portfolio.
